ELITE ROPES - are a development of Racing Dyneema ropes that provide solutions to extreme load holding and durability issues. The composite fibre sheaths use DYNEEMA, TWARON, VECTRAN, TECHNORA and ZYLON (PBO), the world’s leading fibres that, with their outstanding specific properties, add the extra performance needed in full race running rigging.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS – ACROSS THE RANGE
The Elite portfolio has 12 strand Dyneema SK78 core ropes as standard, although these can be upgraded to use SK99 or DM20 where applicable. These are pre-stretched to remove any relaxation during laying up, so delivering the low extension that Dyneema SK78 is renowned for. These ropes have braided sheaths constructed to offer the optimum fibre defence to overcome extreme cover stresses when reacting to load holding in jammers and on winches.
‘Twistmix’ is our dual fibre homogenous combination with the two fibres working in unison to provide a surface uniformly resistant to extreme stresses. With the exception of Z-Tech Zylon, all ELITE ropes are Twistmix yarn constructions.
